Plinth area of the house (in square feet):
Plinth refers to the construction extending from the top of the foundation to the ground floor level of the house i.e. foundation base of a building. Plinth area is the total constructed area of the surface on the ground over which the structure is created. The plinth area will be recorded against this item in square feet in whole numbers. In case more than one structure is used by the household, total plinth area of all taken together will be recorded. In case of a multi-storeyed building plinth area will refer to the whole building.
